I feed wild squirrels in my front yard. The assembly is two screws and common sense instructions. They love it. It took a couple days for them to get used to it, but once they did, I see them every morning and evening enjoying the table. If you have rougher, more pronounced bark, I recommend breaking some off or shaving it first. Other than that, great product.
I love these little squirrel feeders. They are easy to install and birds and squirrels both are eating out of it.

I have many pet squirrels that come several times a day and eat at the picnic table. Its such a great little table with some shade for the heat. I ended up adding a little dish of water with a string tied to it, so I can retrieve the dish when they knock it over and fill it back up.
